Let's try this one. I got some feedback when introduced myself. Maybe I'll post here some pics and what I have done. Starting point was year 1989 Hilux with 48k km. One owner and nice almost original condition. Today I got new wheels and winter tyres. Wheels are Cragar Soft 8, 15x7" ET0. Tyres are 205/70-15. Front wheels are OK, rear wheels could have been ET -10. Spacers will be ok later. Plan is to use same wheels after winter and buy new summer tires size 195/65-15. And Belltech kit with 3" blocks and 2" spindels. But that's later. I'll post new pics later this weekend!
That's true. Here winter is quite "snowy" and wife is using Hilux daily so I can't get lower stance before spring. I was surprised how well those tires fit. No scraping anywhere! I was sure I need to gring somewhere. Today I made new exhaust. I used 2" pipe and two universal silencers. First is long and round, second is long and oval. Exhaust ends right in front of rear axle. Sounds nice, deep tone but not too loud. In fact I was waiting A brit louder... I decided to buy new carb. Found nice Weber replacement for original. There won't be any vacuum functions anymore with that. Hopefully I can adjust lambda freely and get better throttle response. I have Keihin FCR in my bikes and I've got used to fast response.
