I don't have any pics but I run a shallow box behind my passenger seat. has a lil' boom to it. or another way is to get some tubes. I used to have 2 8" tubes, one behind each seat. They sound good if you have the right subwoofers in them.

I dnt like shallows. Just my 2cents. I'm running a single dd1508 behind the seat. Does the job well and fools everyone all the time. And I like how he's going full tilt at idle in the video. Smh...

I'm going to be going with a "ghetto" box behind the seat. Ghetto as in sort of what I grew up with in the 90's where teenagers who didn't know any better, built boxes to fit where they had room and crammed the biggest woofer they could in there. Sometimes I sounded great, sometimes it sounded like hell.
My box is going to consist of the back wall being straightened of all those ridiculous bends and then bumped out (not a pass through) with half of a fuel tank from a Ford Pinto (its what I had available.) welded into the back wall to give clearance for the back of the woofer. The back wall will be strengthened by welding in some 1/4 inch bars and then the the whole thing will be dynamat'd, ect. This will make the rear of the box. The front and sides will be either old-school plywood or most likely fiberglass. The speaker itself is going to be an 18 inch DJ woofer for now, and then a rebuilt, vintage Rockford Fosgate 18 when I can find one. Yes, I know this will most likely make the box "boomy" but I like that sound. And I like the idea of folding the seat back to reveal the giant sub. You don't get that much anymore.

Back when my truck had a stereo . I used a 6.1/2 inch bazooka bass tube on a mono amp and a set of components wasn't the best sounds system but the little six hit hard for what it was and was well rounded for all types of music

Check my build thread for pics. My box is 1.5 cubes after displacement tuned to 35hz. With a 4inch aero port. Tuned high cuz dd woofers like it high.

Now that the back wall has been painted it is time to use the Dynamat Deadening Materilal (Quick Roof from Home Depot $16.85 )

    There its all laid out:

Remounted the AMP and then i will run the wires through some peep holes that i made in the carpeting... attach a leather hole punch to a drill and it will make a perfect round hole.

I used some L angles from ACE hardware $1.19 each to secure the Subwoofer box :

Its comparably the same... unless you got an inspection team that is going to meticulously rate it.. you can't go wrong with this suff because its made the same way as the higher priced stuff..
I even used it on my 1967 VW Beetle and you know they are noisy to begin with
