I am a body man at Service King Collision, that pays the bills and funds the hotrods, motorcycles, and all that other jazzy sh!t And I grew up with my truck but have a passion for everything internal combustion , and fast
I am just obscenely wealthy from a single business deal that I made when I was about 20 years of age. I try to live modestly though.

I work as a mechanic at a car lot. i got my truck cheap from there. all ive done so far is a glass pack and a cheap stereo in my truck. getting ready for an electric fan today.
I build police / fire / emergency vehicles for a living for the past 11 years. That keeps my mini going.
When I was a Sophomore in HS, I took notice to the 1980 SR5 pickup truck. It wasn't until Nov 1981 that I was able to get my 1982 SR5. I still remember walking to the rear of the dealership and seeing a beige shortbed SR5. It has all of the options with the exception of the moon roof. Shortly afterwards, I got my 1st job at Togo's sandwich shop. Still enjoy this truck to this day. As for mods, I pretty much done with personalizing it.
USAF U-2S Crew Chief as of '12 September, been in since Feb. Took the Toyota around 15 years of age, been driving it since 140k. And she's gone through more than meets the eye, some of you have been by my side through it all. I'm too fascinated by this truck to ever let it go, including all the memories that has been built. Currently, just trying to maintain her if anything occurs. Saving up for some bigger things in mind.
Been driving these small trucks sense 89,my first one was a 87 standard cab w/ a 22r,2nd one since 92,a 88 Extra a Cab w/ a 22RE both were commuters & carried my tools. R&D engine dyno tech for cummins. (rumbling away at 600+hp 8 feet away right now). I've had small trucks since I was 18, 96 ranger, 87 S10, now the 91 toyota.
I do security for a Japanese Consulate office. It pays the bills and allows me to be home on evenings and weekends with the kids. (single dad, dead-beat ex) This is my first mini truck and my first "non-American" car/truck. I kinda knew the mini-trucking scene existed before buying my truck but didn't pay much attention to it. Now I'm semi-addicted and looking forward to many years of modding.
auto tec I love older toyota's the new ones can pound sand lol I went from going boom at night in my n/a supra to going zippy fast in my heavy mod supra to going camping in the lifted 4x4 4runner to tree pushing and rolling my exo cage bush truck over and over again to starting a new chapter truck norris auto cross sport truck
I sell crack to little kids and rob the collection jars from libraries. When that can't keep up with the front tire camber bills, I sell sperm. Not at the sperm banks, just to whoever wants to buy it on the bus. Haven't made too many sales lately...
I'm a tire tech at Discount Tire but most of what pays for the truck is my wife cause she makes more money than I do. What got me on Toyota's is two things.....1) When I was in jr high and high school a buddy's dad had an '84 std cab with close to 450k on it, he drove that thing everywhere. 2) always saw them in Minitruckin mag back then and loved the way they looked slammed.
I am a photo lithography technician fixing the equipment that makes wafers that eventually become integrated chips and processors. It pays pretty good and is a very enjoyable job. People always ask my what my degree is and When I tell them it is in Laser/Electro-Optics they never believe me. haha I have been interested in Toyota trucks since I was 6. I still remember the day I first saw the 89-94 body style in 91 that had some nice wheels on it. That was the day I fell in love. I have owned 1 other toyota that was an 81 but didnt keep it long because it was not the dream truck I always wanted. I also owned a dodge dakota that was my first "mini." It had pretty much every part I could get to work from an Eclipse.
Toyota bought back my Tacoma for a better than fair price when it rusted out. With the proceeds, I bought Pablo, and Trixie the parts truck, and there should be enough in that budget to make Pablo into the truck I want. I'm not looking for anything very fancy, so it won't cost much. The thing is, Pablo has brought home nearly four cords of little hardwood blocks this year, which have the heating value of about 700 gallons of heating oil. Pablo does other things to earn his keep too, hauling home building materials and interesting things from the dump. When you factor that in, assuming I'm driving anything at all, Pablo is a great choice as a daily driver. For my day job I stare at houses and tell people what I think of them.
