Connecting rod bearing

    Would anyone happen to know the markings on a connecting rod bearing
    Letter wise cause the only place that currently has is the dealership
    All parts stores are out help thanks

    Micrometer . I normally do not use there std or undersized chart and always fall on a good micrometer as a positive measure


    Size: Big end inner diameter: Crank pin diameter: Bearing center wall thickness:
    A: 56.000 - 56.006: 52.988 - 53.000: 1.484 - 1.488
    B: 56.006 - 56.012: 52.988 - 53.000: 1.488 - 1.492
    C: 56.012 - 56.018: 52.988 - 53.000: 1.492 - 1.496
    U/S 0.25: 56.000 - 56.018: 52.701 - 52.711: 1.626 - 1.636

    Parts store bearings are usually going to be to the stock nominal reading and .010" undersizes. letter codes are for fine tuning and have to be matched to your crank so yea, get the mic out.
