G'day All! Small run down on myself, the Mrs and the stout(s) My name is Luke, Im from a town in New Zealand called Whakatane, Lived in London for a few years before ending up here, Perth Western Australia 6 months ago. The woman, Toni, Also from NZ but next town over, Met in London, Small world and all that. NOW onto the important bits, Stouts! or Lite stout to be specific! Technically this is the mrs project but I'm doing the work and teaching her about cars along the way. Mrs spotted the white one on the side of the road for sale, Loved the shape so we had a look and brought it. It has a 12r in it from a corona and the four on the tree, Super cool. The rusty one came into our ownership after someone replied to my add on 'gumtree', He mentioned it had a wellside body and older style grill so it had to be mine (ours). Also found a landcruiser tray for $100, Will use all but the sides, and graft the stout side onto it. Resto-mod is the name of the game with this build, Simple, Clean, and some tasteful 70's style mods. Photos are going to be my problem as I'm a bit 'special' when it comes to computers so bare with me!
Welcome Luke, Glad to have you join us!!! It's really cool to see that you own (2) Toyota Lite Stouts. We do have a source for some parts here in the US. It's a dealership in Southern California. Looking forward to seeing & reading about your restoration process! Rick
