Yeah it's funny. When I first saw this sub, it reminded me of my Eclipses. But everyone and their brother uses the same basket and motor assembly.

Just another example of how everyone build decent stuff.... :)

Anyone have a genius way to mount a 12" sub under the rear seats in the xcab?

tired of this box behind my seat.

Nam, have you seen my 10" enclosure under the rear seat? There's just under a cubic foot of volume there, so a 12" would be possible with the right sub and a little more modification.

    I have a comparison question:

I am going to make a ported enclosure with an 8" Subwoofer and these are my options and wanted your opinion between Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, JBL or perhaps Alpine

    Kicker 10C84. 8" Comp 200w 4 Ohm

    Rockford Fosgate P2D4-8 Punch P2 500w 4 Ohm

    JBL GTO804. 800w GTO Series 8" 4 Ohm

    Alpine SBR-S8-4 4 Ohm

    Any advice ?

89 Regular Cab. The weirdo with the stock suspension.
I'm a Fosgate/Alpine guy. I've liked them since the late 80's when I was a kid in Quality Auto Sound, dreaming and Fosgate was at the top of the heap as far as quality and performance was concerned. I even owned one of the ill-fated Fosgate aftermarket decks in the early 2000's. Since then, I have to admit that others have stepped up and given Fosgate a run and can even claim to be superior, apples to apples. So yes, I would still recommend the Fosgates, but I would give the others a listen first.
