My Hilux has been down at California mini truck getting my 20R rebuilt. After 400,000 miles it was finally time. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. After three weeks and three different cracked blocks it's finally all back together and looking good...a big thanks to Manny and Jim over there for taking care of my baby. Next up a 2"drop all around.!

 

Clean truck and engine compartment but I just noticed that the tube on the top of the air cleaner should be capped. Perhaps not very likely, but stuff can get sucked directly into the carb through there.

That is a clean engine and truck, one day mine would look like that.

 

Could be capped on the inside to look a little cleaner..

It looks great! Gives me inspiration to finish my motor..

 

Very clean truck .... I say 3 inch all around drop with that size rim ... And post some pics no filters .. Wanna see that true color on the body

 

Thanks everyone. I'm not to sure about the cap on the air cleaner, I just picked it up from the shop. As far as the meets I would love to go. Where and when are they? I'll post up some untouched shots right now.

Yes very clean .. Black wheels go good with that color .. Things gonna look real good with a bit of a drop

I wouldn't cap it inside the air cleaner. If the cap fell off for whatever reason, it could get sucked into the carb. Just buy a black rubber cap from Autozone and stick it on the outer end. I don't think it will make much difference in looks...
