In need of a 1988 4x4 short bed

    Whats up Toyota fanatics,

    Its been awhile since my last post, I've been searching allover central Texas for a 1984 to 1988 4x4 short bed to complete my body modifications so I can get it painted and back out on the road again.
    I've looked into purchasing a fiberglass bed from Precision 4X4, Show cars, and B&G fiberglass but they range from $2800.00 to $3200.00 landed to the nearest port and I only payed $1200.00 for the truck.

    If anyone can help me find and locate a bed please let me know.

    I was looking too, but gave up. I've been checking Craigslist(San Antonio, Killeen, Austin, Houston, and Dallas)...no luck. The trucks at my local yard are all 2wd.

    What about putting 4wd bedsides onto your 2wd bed? Or is that above your metal fab skills? Bed sides can be ordered new from a few places.

    Well a few years ago I worked in a body shop and we ordered some from an aftermarket company. Keystone probably. Not sure if they still stock the parts or not.

    nope .. they dont ..
    maybe you could find old new stock somewhere ..

    if your looking for bed sides just buy our bed sides cheep and easy + 21st century raw materials , pretty sure you've been looking for a year now right ?

    our stock style bed sides run $250.00 ea !!

    I'm ordering replacement pannels from here Toyota Pickup Truck Rust Repair Panels if you have access to a welder etc. this is the way to go!

    Here's what I'm dealing with!

    If that's a no go then the BEST PARTS SITE Car-Part.com enter your requirements etc!! Found my mesh Vic wheels, Supra seats, and other misc. S**T on here! It checks the inventory of all the junk yards in whatever distance!! I've even found beds on here I'm just always to busy to go get them, plus being on the east coast I'd still have to restore them either way!
