San Diego! Yep... You heard it. I'll be moving to San Diego on the 24th and I'll be taking my silver pickup with me. Hopefully I get to meet some of you locals out there. Any suggestions for restaurants while I'm there? Trying to find me some "hole in the wall" style places to eat at. I'll be in the mira mesa area to be exact.
It all depends on what kind of food your looking for. Mira Mesa has a pretty good mix of choices whether it be Mexican, Filipino, Vietnamese, etc. There's a growing mini truck population here too. But yeah as Beefed said SD YOTA is the main man around the scene. Would love to see your truck. My dad had the same one growing up.
youuuuu raaaaaaang???!! congrats man! you'lll fit right in down here. as for eats... man you gots places to go... tacos el gordo will offer you bomb ass tj style tacos without the border line cross. fuddruckers, freds, and canada burgers are awesome. you also have cotijas, cotixan and a bunch of local taco shops that make the well known california burritos. there are good places for breakfast, like broken yolk cafe, perrys cafe, and house of pancakes family restaurant. just hit us up when you get down here!
Haha I'll definitely hit you up SD yota when I'm in the area. As for the.restaurants, they all sound amazing and thank you for the suggestions. Now about the bars... any great bars to hit up?
there are about as many bars as there is restaurants to go to.... some people enjoy the downtown scene, any some like myself, do not. but there are also nice hole in the wall places that are worth making your usual watering hole. pacific beach is also a go to place. nice socal style beach feel.. relaxed scene. its cool to go to once in a while but i wouldnt suggest driving there as dui check points are the usual and cops crack down.
what brings you down to SD? i myself live in east county but work over on MCAS Mirarmar which is right down the street from mira mesa.
I'm moving to finally finish school and work. I was offered free rent at a friends house so it kind worked out with my school of choice. I'll be having a BBQ to celebrate the new move; you local guys are welcome to swing by if you want. Free booze and a handful of girls will be there
LOL good luck. California cries a little every time I even look at the garage much less start anything.
