So over the last several months I have been saving up to remodel my garage. When I bought the house the garage was not finished and it had (1)20 amp circuit for all the light and outlets. So that was almost years ago buying the house and my projects are not getting done quick because I cant work in a hot garage and no work space. Well enough rant on to the photos..All was have been insulated and 1/2 ply wood and a new 100amp subpanel and work/stoarge space. Will post more photos. This is all over the last 2 days.

Started running new outlets and switches

Looks great in there. Should help organize with them cabinets. I always liked that style because you still get the floor space to work on the truck but have stuff put away too. I dig it.

It is kinda expensive but it will help keeping everything in place and make my garage that much nicer I'm ok with it. Hope to get more done tonight.

Right now is phase 1. Once walls and power is done then come a new work bench and drop light. Phase 2 is paint the floors. Phase 3 is do everything I did in the garage up in the loft above. Its a nice chill lounge and only has 2 lights right now and is not isulatated. So still lots to do. I'm at $1200 right now and figure about $2500 once done.

Got a mini fridge already has a house warming gift. Stocked with cold beer to go go under the work bench. Got 2/3 of the last wall done tonight. Taking a beak till friday morning. Then it finish the walls and onto lighting and new door to enter the garage. Should be done by late night. Then the not so fun part or clean up and organize. Phase 2 will be paint the floor and walls and ceiling speakers.

This (insulation) is on the list for mine, except mines more of a nice pole barn instead of stick-built. Working on $600 and 2 breakers of lighting now, I doubt if insulation is in the budget this year though.

+1 for that^ VERY busy forum, lots of good advice and ideas. Some hardcore guys but mostly laid back and easygoing. LOTS of ways to empty your pockets seeing what others have done though.

You need to move to So.Cal, a few phone calls and you would have a entire crew working on that project :D
