Hello, I'm new. Check out my 76' hilux

    Hello everyone. I'm new to these forums, just wanted to introduce myself and show off some pics of my mini.

    Its painted a volvo gold. Everything on the exterior was shaved except the windshield wipers and drivers side mirror. The gas tank was relocated into the bed. The bed was lowered with sheet metal to match the cab. It has 18" wheels and low profile tires. I plan on lowering it a little bit and swapping in a performance 22r motor with dual side draft carbs. Or if money permits maybe dropping a 2JZ-GTE into it. I know, I know lots of custom work and money.. Maybe adding JDM Datsun fender mirrors and restoring the interior with new parts.

    That's awesome. I was thinking today mine would look good a copper color. That gives me a great perspective.

    Whats the width and offset on those wheels? They sit pretty nice. Would probably tuck up nicely.

    Thanks everyone. I'm gonna be taking it to California mini truck to rebuild the stock 20r. I'm gonna lower the front 2" and the rear 3". As far as offset on the wheels I'm not to sure. They were on the truck when I bought it. I just got done plasti-dipping the door handles and side mirror as well as smoking the tail lights and front turn signals. Will post up pics of that soon. My ultimate plans are to drop a 2jz into it. I know that will require a good amount of money and fabrication but I am not in any rush.
