Just picked up a smuggled in Hilux...

Going to update the URD 2TR-FE Supercharger system to fit the Hilux.

Since I cannot ever register the truck and make it legal in the US, I am going to see what it takes to blow it up on the dyno. Should make a good video.

Why can you no register the truck? Nice find on the truck.

 

It is a bootleg truck. Not legal in the US. Does not meet emission and safety standards.

The truck belonged to Toyota and they had it at their Texas plant and when they were done with it they had to destroy it. It was intercepted on the way to the crusher and I got it.

So there's no legal way to make it road worthy .. . . No special plates or registration type things in Maryland obviously the emission is absent but guess there's no way around that
