Yeh, it's getting there. Still lots more to do. I've also been doing some work in the back end trying to make sure the search engines find us. I'm struggling to figure out the best way to organize the forum areas. The 20R/22R stayed (mostly) the same between many of these years. But then the 3.0 engine came along, right?
I honestly don't know too much about the pretacos. I think the 3.0 was available somewhere in the 89-95 style, but I could be wrong. Enola could definately tell you though.
Yeh, I've been trying to figure out what the topic areas should be for each year category. I think that I have now will work good for starters and then we'll probably need to split it up as the site grows. But you don't want to start out with TOO split up areas or everyone will be too split up between areas. If you remember, this is how we built CT.
like you said, maybe down the road, but I was thinking of adding Restoration to each year group since you mention all types of trucks on the main page.
ditto on the boredness...this is gonna be a sweet site once more people come...everyones always wanted a site for pre-tacoma trucks.
Yes - the 3VZ-E (3.0L V6) appeared with the 1988 model year (last year of the generation prior to the last 'PreTaco' generation). It continued to be available as an option through the 1995 (PreTaco) model year. When the Tacomas were introduced as of 1995.5, the 5VZ-FE was the only V6 available.
