This is my second time ever posting on this forum. I've been looking/shoping around for new wheels and came across couple of rims that I liked on tire discount direct. I liked the konig backbone 17x7.5 with a 35 offset and I also liked the mb wheels weapons 17x8 with a 28 offset . I just can't make up my mind on which ones will look better. A little info on my current drop, the front is dropped 3" bj (flip/spindles) and the rear has 3 inch blocks. I'm planning to get some dropp leafs and crank down the torsion in the future. So what u guys think? Other wheel sugestions?

I tried uploading pics but for some reaosn I can't from my phone

Those specs should fit a 93 perfect. Tire size depends on your drop. I'd say a out a 215/45/17 will fit. Really common size so should be cheaper than some other sizes.

I vote for the MBs based on looks. I prefer 7 spokes to 6. But whats the price diff between them? I am looking for something similar with less offset than I have now. Im running like +45mm 17x7.5s

Thanks standardbyker88, I just cant make up my mind on which rim to get:(. The weapons have a lower offset and are half an inch wider lol than the backbones so i'm leaning more towards them

I don't know if they will rub, but with that specs and drop I would assume no. I haven't had a late model in five years and when I did I has 14x6s with lots of drop. My 78 is a lower A arm and coil springs. My rims rub the lower arm the last 1/4-1/2 turn of the steering wheel. Makes parking a little tougher but no worry. Those prices are really good I think. Now I know what to save up for lol.

Yeah I've been shopping around and no one can't bit those prices. On top they discount 50 dollar and even ship for free :runaway: .. out the door I'm gong to pay about 740 with 215/45r17 tires not bad I think

    MB Weapons all the way!

I ran an 18x8 with a +40 offset with 235/40-18's and a 2/3 drop with no issues at all. They came to just inside the fenders

A 215 will be a little stretched on an 8" wide wheel, but the 45 series sidewall will help with that

The weapon keeps coming back as one of my top pics looking at current designs. I'm really partial to the bbk lm knockoffs tho too. Few other designs too. Anybody got pics of weapons on a Toyota?

Awesome. I'm interested to see the design with that specific offset. See if it looks less FWDish than the +43 version. Haven't seen a pic of the +28s. I like a deep concave if the spokes sit fairly close to the edge of the rim.

My boss had the Weapons on his Acura and test fitted them on my truck but the center bore wasn't big enough or I'd have pics. They looked pretty good sitting in front of it. I work at a Discount Tire

They are available with pretty big center bores in some offsets. I think we only need like 67mm. Some said 73 on the wheels.

Ive been searching the web to make sure that the bore is big enough and on some forums i found out that they are 73mm. nvrenufedge u said that the bore didnt fit maybe the ones u tried had a smaller radius making the bore smaller as well ??

73 for your truck that is a pretty common size and a lot of rims are using 70 and up
