May have to take into a exhaust /muffler shop & look from under bett.
Hoping it is not the manifolds,as look to be a plain to get off!

 

i ordered new tires for my 21, including the spare.....so tomorrow i'll have all 5 new tires installed w00t!!!

 

Installed my new engnbldr head today after blowing the headgasket and warping the head a few weeks ago. The new head was less than the repairs would have been to fix the old one. New timing chain/oil pump/water pump from them went on too. So nice to have new clean parts to put on.

 

How much would you want for one of those 22r heads?

Put the original grille back on complete with kangaroo damage and slipped the last original 700 15" tyre off the split rim

 

taught my son how to put on a steering wheel.

 

got new tires, alignment, washed, re-dropped the front again, and quick detailed it today...

SD, truck looks good. Like all the chrome and white. You should hunt down some cooler hub caps though, maybe some old metal ones from the 70s.

Today I walked past my truck a few times. Haven't worked on it since i took the head off on the 5th. Cant find inspiration to do anything until it runs again. Hopefully be back in it by the end of the month.

 

Finally started to put putty on my body panels, since work has slowed back down

yea i have had people literally follow me to my destination to bug me about selling my truck, and I even had a guy come into my tattoo shop and basically demand I sold it to him. he just had this attitude, like I was a dumb punk who didnt know what he had or something.

 

nah... looked like old retired navy guy.. admired how clean it was. he took another try and offered 4500 but im not looking to sell. gave me his number and told me if i changed my mind to give him first crack at it....

thinking about it, if someone offered me $5000 i dont think id sell it still..... its worth more to me than a quick sell. i think if he'd of offered me around $5500 i would of thought about it pretty hard...

 

got the clear corners in finally... and also found my initial wood blocks no longer clear the front of the truck so i made new step ramped blocks... lol

 

I like the wood blocks. How much will they lower it?

 

And they have a pinion wedge

 

yup, custom made... wood blocks are adjustable... 1" drop to 9".

 

Just what I was thinking. Pull the rope forward and the truck gets lower. Floor it and it lifts. I dig it.
