Decided to trade the mesh wheels for some staggered starion wheels. Going to polish them up soon.

I was stoked to finally grab a set lol. I just need to order up some center caps and get some rubber! May stick with 205 wide on all 4 corners

Those wheels look so good! Nice and shiney! What did you use to get that shine?? I'm going to attempt to polish the lips on my new rims, and any help/tips would be appreciated!

I second the idea to run locking or splined lug nuts. Maybe a few different kinds per rim to further deter rim bandits. I've always been lucky but I know people who have had their rims stolen. I think I'm too low for the average crack head floor jack.

And if you've got a healthy built motor you will want more than a 205 out back. 225/50/16 is an awesome size.

yea ive always ran a set of locking nuts on my wheels. the truck isnt parked where i cant see it and sleeps in the garage.

i plan on having a pretty healthy motor, been playing with the idea of a wet shot after i get the motor back together, and a 225/50 has been on my mind. plus ive been eyeballed by some of the local island boys so i gotta bring my A game when it comes out the garage lol.

the wheels were already sanded when i picked them up. all we did was clean them up with another light pass and hit em with a high speed sander / polisher. used a brown and a white rouge (sp?) and a hand polish afterwards.

of course. in my good ol fashion, i decide to look at the back of the wheels i got from kingtacoma951 AFTER polishing them out.

    i have:
    2 16x8 -10 offset
    1 16x8 +8 offset
    1 16x7 + 18 offset

now for the impossible hunt of 1 16x8 with a +8 offset (front fitment) or 1 16x7...

There ya go. Having an extra never hurts. You'll come across another front 8 and have 3 pairs. I always loved that wheel but after going to 17s I don't think I can put 16s back on my truck. Might run them on something someday. Should look killer when its done.

He also has a 16x9 but that will be even harder to come across again lol. We will see what happens when I go to his house, might come home with both lol.
