Found a good deal on some mock up wheels. Curious if they will tuck. Ad says 20x9 +45mm offset 5x114.3 spread. Thanks again fellas!

He ran a +40 on a 20x8. You wanna run a 20x9 with a +45. I would say no.

looking further into it, it looks like his main concern was trying to turn lock to lock with a 20mm offset?

 

further research shows me a difference of 8mm(a big 5/16'') between 20x8.5 with +40mm offset and 20x9 with +45mm offset. potentially a 1/4'' spacer needed. I think this could work, especially on a mock up wheel.

If you need a 1/4" spacer, why wouldn't you just get a +40 off set?

 

Because they are used, Not new. they tuck without spacers and the 4runner project died so they are for sale.
