Oh yeah. A pic we took with our new Rig Pro.

Not the best resolution here, but you get the drift.

What the block a new or a cleaned up used block. Also what are the specs for the new engine, like compresion and cc you are shooting for. Also any specs on the head would be great, im getting to to start my new engine build though not turbo trying to see what others are using.

It's an 8.5 to 1 compression ratio, bored out .40 over only because it needed it.

Since I am going turbo, I don't need (and wouldn't benefit much) from a lot of head work other than the port work that I did. I could go over sized valves, but my budget didn't allow it. That and my goal is only 200 hp to the wheels which will easily be achieved by this setup. It's still a lowrider, not a race car.

Honestly, the biggest bang for the buck for the NA motor was by far the installation of MegaSquirt. Ditching the factory ECU and controls was huge undertaking, but well worth it.

Wow Lit, things are looking quite amazing.
Especially with the size of turbo you have on that thing.

I have a GM-8 turbo with a T3 housing. I was thinking about going turbo but that'd cost me way too much downtime with the lack of equipment, also.

    good luck, man!

Rig Pro is a camera boom that you can hook to any vehicle, get the shot you want, then you edit out the boom in photoshop. It allows the camera to move perfectly with the vehicle making the vehicle in focus with the background blurred.

Thanks Nam! I'm hoping for only a two week down time. I've done a bunch of work in preparation, hopefully I didn't miss anything too big.

Thanks. Didn't get the engine out last night. Hopefully tonight. I'll have to pull it myself though. Can't seem to get any of my car "buddies" to be interested enough to show up. I might have to remember that....

Pulled it myself. Bummer. It's always more fun to work on these projects with friends.

Still has decent compression. 150-160 psi in all cylinders and runs good.

I did notch around the booster when I installed the fender, if that answers any questions.

Just read this thread from the beginning on my breaks at work, loving the way you did the bed, definitley had to show some other truck enthusiasts at work as I thought it was pretty cool. Also can't get over how well it lays out for not being bodied, keep up the great craftsmanship!
