Welcome! Your red truck did indeed benefit from being previously owned by the original owner. Other same year trucks I've seen have oxidized paint. What are you plans for it? I like it "as is." Your after market wheels really gives it a good look and still functions as a truck.

Anyways, have fun hanging out with us. There are a good bunch of people on this site!

That's cool! Your truck is still functional for your needs. I'm still able to load up the back of my truck and go camping in the Santa Cruz mountains.

Yea the 22r&e love them some valve tick .
If your looking for pointers on lowering it ..the common 2 drop spindle with the ball joint flip mod is pretty common nets you about 3 inches up front retaining a fairly good ride out back a 2 or 3 inch block is a good starting point . Combined with a good set of shocks all around .... If you use the truck for truck duty it will still be able to carry a decent amount of stuff

And we'll if the duramax does the haulin .. Then you can get real low using multiple combinations of suspension parts .

I'm going to be doin this in a budget I have the hook up at a carquest on parts so I'm gonna get a new set of shocks and I was planning in just loosening up the torsion bars can I just do a ball joint flip with stock spindles? And is 2 in blocks e nought in the back or should I go with 3 I will use it a little but ill never haul more than a couple hundred lbs in the bed or pull a trailer with to much tongue weight

Yea you can flip the ball joints and loosen the bars up a bit ..won't cost a thing
Out back I prefer 3 inch blocks . 2 is noticeable but you always look back and go I shoulda bought 3 inch

Haha don't tell my work that ..I have a very lax job ..if I'm staring at a computer screen ...it looks like I'm working lol
There are some other forums ..Tacoma forums 4x4 of all generations forums ....this sight is more catering to none Tacoma ..and lowered or performance based pickups And overall covers most of the bases
