3 month time limit to finish my build....

    Well heres some updates... frontend done, tranny cross member done, rear bag mounts with just some simple tube support all tacked up and ready to be fully welded in, then it will be onto cleaning up the rear frame etc and painting it, then ill be onto raising the bed floor

    Looking at the pic of your front balljoint it looks like the nut is all the way down and the cotter pin isn't going through the nut. Id suggest adding washers under tht so the nut can't back itself off. Happened to me until I added the washers

    Oh yea for sure.. I bought spacers from lowes today for that reason.. I just did it like that so I could get the truck down to redo my rear bag mounts, but I dont understand why they make the ball joint like that.. its a stupid design if ya ask me.. and not to mention the upper ball joint boit doesnt even stay on.. wtf kinda ball joint design is this haha

    What do I do with this contraption after I get rid of the air box and do the shorty air intake setup??

    Pull it off, cap the vacuum line that goes to the reed valve. Thats just the PAIR system. You have the tube on your exhaust manifold? If so you can buy plates from LC or make your own.

    Haha. Does it have anything to do with emissions? Some of the lame cities in utah still make u do emissions

    Ya slavers work too haha. Ya the balljoints are for some other vehicle tht has similar size as yotas an work better than bolt on ones. Upper joint only goes so far down an lower goes to far.

    My uppers need spaced as well.. so ill do some spacers on both.. I go all my exhaust ran, new muffler, truck is back running, all air stuff hooked back up, battery has been moved to the passenger side, new center console in, still tryin to figure out a raised bed floor design...
