    what motor? 22r or RE?

LCEngineering has a complete block off kit for everything on either motor for not allot of money. a de-smogged motor retuned runs SOOOOO much better, especially with non-smog compliant upgrades..

Yup, Cali is a nice place to visit but stupid laws and cost of living is crazy. I like my gun laws and low cost of living in Texas. I bet you won't be able to live in a 2700 sq ft house going for around 230k in Cali unless you're in the ghetto! lol

I lived in California for three years while I was in the USN. I had a simple way to deal with their vehicle requirements. I kept my truck registered at my home of record in Michigan.

Yuuup it's expensive for a "legit" smog especially if it has to be smog certified

74 and older are exempt in Cali. Just stop buying new crap. Old stuf is where it's at anyways.

I wish. My state goes by age not year. At 25 things are exempt. At 30 they can have collector plates and lifetime tabs.

Same with Texas! Also registration renewals cost about 40-50 bucks. Cheap compared to Cali!
