well Im just curious what people would pay for a truck like mine. I might be down for selling it, just depends on what I can get for it... If i cant get enough im going to push it in my back yard and let it sit there for a few years probably and just buy something new.

for those who dont know- its got -

daytons which msrp at 800 per wheel tires less then 3000 miles
hids interior is fiberglass bucket seats tinted good stereo
fresh paint roll pan lowered
bad ass turbo 22r that doesnt run.. probably something stupid but will most likely be running by the time i sell it

 

cant say..but its hard not being able to see it in person, to give a "quote"

 

$2500 tops, $2000 if it's not running.

 

2k unless you get it running and then I would say 3k max

 

lol its kinda depressing knowing that no matter how much money Ive put into this thing its barley worth more then the year it was made in lol

i know that sounds harsh, but think about it...


its got a home made turbo sys fed by a holley. it was "fixed" but now doesnt run. anytime a PO tells me they were "fixin on it" i shudder, and they are REALLY lucky if ill give em any money for it.



if you really just want to cash out on it. part it out. most of your mods will unbolt and sell quickly on ebay. then sell the shell of your truck for $800-1k.

the parts are worth more seperate then together. thats the same for just about any project car.

for instance.

my wagon. ya its a 2xr hybrid supercharged 74 wagon with a w58. costs are over $2k not counting labor. IF i got $3k for it id be real lucky, so that means for all my time n effort i get $500ish for my trouble. now i dont think thats fair, so ill never sell her. well maybe someday if i finish and i want to start over.

 

it seems the only form of custom auto to make money on is a hotrod. i got 8k tied up in my 66 mustang, i'd be lucky to get 5k.

 

ya, im not looking to make any money on it but I was curious how much it would be worth... Im just fed up with it I guess...
I just cant wait to get a new car so this wont be a headache when its not running... right now it wants to run ive just got some sort of fuel or spark problem because it only stays on for a few seconds...
