Well folks the time has finally come. I am thinking about selling my 78 hilux. Have been wanting to move onto a first gen pretty bad. Would consider one as part trade. On to the details:

Approx 130k miles, purchased 5 years ago at 80k from 2nd owner.
    RN28 longbed hilux
    lowered aprrox 9" all around
    17" wheels
    22r .020" over
20r head with slight milling to deck
LCE head gasket thats thicker than standard
    approx 10.5:1 compression
Ported non-egr 20r intake with 1 piece weber adapter port matched
Weber 32/36 carb; rejetted with bigger jets, choke horns cut off
MSD blaster 2 coil, Taylor 8mm wires, NGK V-power plugs
    Aluminum radiator for 95 4runner
1981 brake booster and master (smaller booster diameter)
    Hammer clearanced inner fenders
Rolled, flared, and stretched outer fenders
    Pacesetter 1-5/8" 4-into-1 header
2.5" exhaust from collector back thru chambered muffler
Exhaust dumps out in front of driver rear tire
8" rear end with 4.10 gears
W52 5 speed trans with short shifter
less than 15k miles on engine and clutch
    77 Corolla bucket seats
    Custom door panels
Fiberglass center console with cup holders and single DIN for stereo
2" gauges across dash for water, volt, oil, tach
Carpet and 3 layers of pad for floor insulation
Expanding foam filled b pillar and rockers for insulation
    Slider back window with lock
    VW bug mirror
H4 headlight housings with 4300k outers and 6000k inner xenon's. Not true HIDs.
JDM front marker lights with LED running bulbs
Yakima roof rack with quick release latches
'74 hilux door accent chrome on door and drip rail
Datsun B210 A-pillar antenna, wire ran to dash
    Flexible plastic front valance lip
1963 WA Truck front license plate, registered as collector vehicle. Never pay tabs again. Exempt from many light/plate/bumper height laws

I am probably forgetting tons of little mods and things I have done. Practically every part has been replaced, I just didn't list them all off. If you're curious, just ask.

Truck is ready to run down the freeway anywhere you want it to go. I love the truck, but its my ticket to moving onto an even better end result. I have lots of information and history on the truck. I will link photos in a second post. More pictures and info can be found in my build thread linked in my signature.

    $6500 obo

No sir, Mustafa does not come with the truck. I found him on a gas pump at a shell one time. He has been purring for the ladies for years.

Price drop. $5000 obo. Will accept part trades for a welder, a first gen hilux or a first gen miata. I wanna move onto a new project. Somebody scoop this up and give it some love.

If you weren't on the other side of the country I'd trade my welders (Lincoln 185 tig and 170 mig) plus cash for this thing... ugh

Sure would. I hate a blast taking it to SoCal a few years ago. Made it with no problems.
