but i am pretty sure ya can just have to swap it out and get the right cable end that goes in your tranny

but it has to be the same gear ratio

I have posted on this subject before. There is a company that has a adapter that goes into your trans cable output, & has wires to connect a after maket electric speedo!!

^ he wants to go the other way around

far as I know of it just spur gear on a hall effect sensor that just held in with one bolt

and the mechanical is the same but it just driven by a cable and held in with one bolt

    pretty sure on this

If you need the mechanical setup off the side of a trans, and probably a cable or two, I have that stuff. I plan to go the other way and run electric speedo in my truck, if I ever have a speedo that works at all. I use mental notes and the tach for speed. Women, not so fond of that. They ask how fast I'm going and I always say 100 :D

Yes, you'd need to put the worm gear on the output shaft, install the cable speedo head, speedo cable, and a cable speedo cluster.

Oh, and then rewire the cluster plugs so the pins line up with that cluster for all the other gauges.
