I tint mine with Lexan spray paint, from RC hobby store.. lawl it as laying around.. but it was "window smoke" spray color, but it has this transparent property to it so whenever i put out a heavy coat, eventually the gravity made it good and still visible! it's awesome stuff.... and cheap some what haha

the key is to keep an even spray coat while making sure you can have visible brake lights... thats what i have LED tail bulbs! haha now i can see my brake when the parkin lights are engaged, and now i can see my blinkers go!

well i got used to fast blinking, makes other drivers KNOW i'm going into their lane or what not!

You know you can put a resistor inline to slow the blinker back down, right? Where did you get your LEDs? Are they boards or just individual replacement bulbs?

i used the replacement bulbs from Autozone, they work great!

and as for the resistor, i think i'll need to find a DIY for that, i suck at soldering too

    Maybe...

After seeing those pics, I'm tempted to do that with my 4x. Anyone use the blackouts from the spray can like engine enamel, or is the paint-gun the best way?

    Canned black-outs

Has anyone tried the taillight black-out that comes in a spray can? I've seen a few cans in my aunt and uncle's auto parts store. I'm hoping that just $12 can take care of my lights... hopefully in this case you don't get what you pay for, as that seems low-priced.
