Hey everyone. I was wondering if any of you have rigged up a secondary fan for your condenser. I got rid of my oem fan set up and replaced it with an electric fan, which is also wired to the A/C...so one little fan pulling air for the condenser and the radiator... my truck is telling me its not enough...so, i was thinking about rigging up a second fan just for the condenser, but i'm running into fitment issues. If any of you have done this, or have seen pics of this, or have pics of this please share =)

I don't have ac but if your out of room on the inside of the radiator might can squeeze to smaller fans side buy side or a little offset from each other .they make a 8 inch slim fan that would work well for that
Or go to your junkyard and get a Lincoln mark2 e fan I think there like 18 inch fans huge air flow or any larger multibladed fan ..upgrade wire size when using large fans . They can pull a lot of amps

interesting. I went to the junkyard and was gonna grab the 2 small fans off of a MKIII supra, they'd fit perfect in the gap between the condenser and the grille. They told me $53....from the JUNKYARD!! said F*** that, i can get a brand new fan for that price. Im thinking of making new brackets for my radiator, I can pull it back about 5in to make clearance between the radiator and condenser (not going to extend it that much, just saying i can) and then going to mount a slim fan on the condenser. We'll see what happens. I'll keep you posted.

Yup! Great find today...i got a massive fan from a crown vic at another junkyard for $15 today. going to use the current fan for the condenser and the vic fan for the radiator... need special brackets because its about the same size as the radiator lol. and working.on a harness as well, i have.wires everywhere because i just wanted stuff done...looks tacky. its off topic, but i have an Optima red top that pulls its weight and then some, however rigging both of these fans...i think im gonna need a better alternator...any suggestions?
