P/S delete?

    Is it possible to delete my power steering or would I need to get a non p/s box

    ditto. you might find someone on the island to trade everything with and make a little cash on top.

    PS box without power assist is like trying to go uphill with a trailer in 5th. You can do it but you'll be working at it. The other problem is you need to make sure there's still fluid in the box and loop the lines back to each other. No fluid, not enough fluid, or open lines = toasted pump.

    non-PS box is like downshifting to 3rd. more revs (turns of the wheel) but much shorter gearing. My non-PS box is about 4 1/2-5 turns lock to lock. You have to work a little if you aren't moving but once you start moving, you don't even notice. I even have a smaller wheel (less leverage but I'm 6-4/270 and my last truck didn't have PS or power brakes)
