Ok Wondering what size tires are people running on their starion rims.

Mine are 16x7 and 16x8.5. I plan on doing a 2/3 drop on the truck when all is said and done.

    Starions come in 16x7, 16x8 and 16x9.
The 16x7 / 16x8 look good with 225-50 and 245-50 series to me.

I'm running 16x9 all around on my mini and just picked up a set of 245-50 and 265-50 hankooks. My bed and front fenders are pulled and some camber is dialed in.

Just a warning. These starion/conquest wheels bend easily. Keep this in mind if considering running ultralow profile tires.

Yeah what he said^^^ the roads out here in Cali are horrible this happend on 880 HWY in San Jose , luckly my tire didn't blow on me. Running 16X8 all the way around on 195-45-16. I purchased a back up set just because of this reason.

Over near the Montague Expy area. They are adding a third lane Hwy project and had the old road surface removed. Since I start work at 4:30 In the morning it's really hard to see all the pot holes at night. No worries on driving there now the road is repaved finally.

Yeah, I was looking at them and thought they looked thin where it counted.

I want to go with as much meat on the tires as possible. I want street-ability and cornering not stanced "VW-Esque" type tires on there that are stretched.

So what seems to be the concensus among you guys who are dropped on tire size for these wheels while still maintaining a nice sidewall height? 205 65? 215 50?
