Just read on Street Source that they are shutting the site down! This comes after a big change to the site to make it more like Facebook! We keep losing sites where we share,ideas,options & builds! I have been logging on to about 5 sites for the last 12 years all during my build, & now there only a few left & this one is the only active one left! A very sad thing indeed!!!
I was really bummed to see this news as well. Unfortunately sites like MySpace and Facebook have been pulling people away from streetsource for years. I first discovered that site back in 2001. For the 5 years following, if I was to be on the computer I was on that website. If they do decide to reopen the site, Kris might want to consider making a forum similar to this.
Hard to navigate anyway....search function sucked there. I agree, alot of information will be lost...but whatever.
SSM is still around? Havent been on there for awhile. I know Kris and remember when they started SSM up.
I have for the past 12 years & do start every day visiting truck sites,of which this is the last active one! It sucks big time ,because of all the knowledge that is going to be lost!! Great builds & lots of good people sharing ideas!!
