anyone know about this truck i see maybe a club name on the window? i want to know about how he mounted 78 style lights in a 79-83 body with no grill and a emblem floating there it looks mad reminds me of a 57 plymouth fury i would do a mesh or chicken wire grill to add to it just a little but other than that im digin the sideboards and the keg/tank?and the paint of lack there of im wondering if thats real age or fo-tina anyone have any other info please please post it other pics of this truck and similar style builds/finds would be also apreciated

 

also i have a ratty paint/rusty bumper ill trade for his crome one if you know the guy i think it would look better on his than mine and vice versa

 

the headlights sit in a bucket on the 73-78 trucks that mount with 4 bolts. when you take that off there is two little z shaped brackets that are welded to the core support with 3 welds each. if you drill those out you can transfer them to the 79-83 core support. basically what i did when i transferred mine to my hand made core support.

 

thanks burnz i havent had a chance to look at my 78 trucks yet im going to try to use the extra 78 celica lights i have so i dont canabilize my trucks
