Hey guys hoping u guys could help me out got a 93 3.0 v6 5spd... no matter what I do I cannot adjust the idle I changed the o-ring on the idle screw, burped the cooling system, checked for vacuum leak, checked the timing, new cap, rotor, wires, plugs and everything seems fine but my truck still idles at 500 rpm.... it also doesnt kick up the idle wen i turn on the ac...so I just adjusted the throttle screw the one with the jam nut on the allen key threaded rod that hold the throttle plate open... it also bucks at lower rpm like around 1500-2500 in 2nb & 3rd gear and feels really sluggish (or maybe thats jus how the v6 is) any help will be appreciated thanx in advance

Sup guys still havent figured it out its still missing at idle and low rpm clears up around 3k rpm
Changed spark pkuds, wires, cap rotor, fuel filter, airfilter, burped coolent system, checked timing, no intake/vacuum leaks, and no cel... ive been told by a couple people that it could be an ecu or distributor problem if anyone has any advice pls lmk thanks in advance

Have u checked Mas air sensor or checked tps for correct calibration there's a guy on here with a similar problem of sluggish below 3k

Bucking can be a vacuum leak egr still hooked up ? or a fuel delivery problem have u pulled your injectors leaving them on the rail and pressurized the system key to battery position and checked for a open or leaking injector

Didnt check the mass air sensor but I did change the fuel filter and it did make a little difference the bucking came down to a minimumand the idling came a little bettere I still got the miss though I cant seem to figure it out...

What's the mileage on this motor ever had a valve adjustment
Also is your egr system functioning good I've seen some dirty gummed up egrs valves and tubes cause a mess of problems at idle

    Tps sensor
    Coolant temp sensor
    O2 sensors
And last but not least burnt valve those v6s like to burn the driver side rear valve wich can cause a miss and clear out as rpms climb

I'd try adjusting the original just to give it a shot .. Then possibly get another one on the back burner for backup incase it craps out

I believe tps adjust how twos are on this forum somewhere or might google it for the procedure

Sup guys been I while since I could work on the toy...

So I changed the tb with a known good one with a good tps on it and still ran the same also did a compression test and its good I also adjusted the afj to lean it alout a little but nothing works... will a bad temp sensor misfire and stumple upon acceleration or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanx guys....

No cel on temp guage reads good.... if theres anyone on here that could possibly make a list of things that would cause these symptoms that would be greatly appreciated also thanks

I no on my camaro if the coolant temp sensor is bad the car will run rich cause the Ecu relies on the coolant sensor for engine temp in relation to giving it the right fuel mixture . If the sensor is faulty the ecu might no what to do .. It might be worth a shot sense it's a a elusive problem to chase. And how's the plug look on the cylinder that misses the most

Wen u pull the plug wires one by one they all make a difference in idle... so I jus checked all the plugs and they all look pretty close, color wise
