i was thinking it might look alright if it would fit fairly easily or without much fab? any suggestions? i'm wanting a lower bumper off of something like that to make the truck look that much lower without actually being that low

Are you asking to fit the passport one? If so, I'm sure you can, but probably would require some fabrication for the mounts or something. Usually people just use the 4x4 bumpers off the same year of your truck because they'll usually go lower. If you wanna go lower just buy some 4 or 3 inch blocks, and turn the tortion bars

good luck with that, the mini truck scene has been around for a long time and im sure whatever you plan on doing, its been done over and over lol. check out some of the other builds though and you can get an idea of some different bumpers or valance combos that others have ran. best bet is to just cruise your local junk yard / pick-a-part and see what you can find!

If and only Stillen was still making the front air dam for the '84-'88 trucks, then I'm sure you would have purchased it. If you take a look at my truck, I was able to mount it just fine.

I remember in the early 80's when the flared fender kit with a molded spoiler were available among other things no longer offered.

As you can tell, having a front air dam does give our trucks a different look.

This just hits the nail right on the head!

It's very difficult to find something in the Mini Truck scene that has not already been done. You just have to build your truck the way you like it, because in the end your the one who has to live with it.

I get all my ideas from the mag and the web, but put my own taste on it. I used a 84 front bumper (bumper bolts holes shaved and brackets welded to the inside) and lower valance to replace my stock one and it going to be painted to match the truck, leaving my grill and headlight buckets chrome, I thought about using a newer setup like everyone does, but after its gets painted I think its going to look pretty sweet.

The grass always seems greener on the other side, but its not. Another thing I tell myself when I think, I should have done it this other way, is it usually turns out to be 6 of 1 and 1/2 dozen of the other, meaning in the end its usually turnd out just as cool as doing it the other way, if its done right.

    Good luck
