flywheel came out nice chelu. How much you score that radiator?I'm running an 8" with a 4:11 its good but I plan on slaping in a 5 speed soon.
thanks. rad was 115 tax shipping out the door. but they was kuxaka cuz they said was 1 day fedex shipping. never came yet, i had to call 2 days later, said they didnt have it in warehouse in LA, so shipping out from the east coast. ordered on Nov 6, just got it now. wtf. idk up to u if u wanna spend the money for a little more reliable online store who guarantees shipment time. 4.11 with a 4 spd, damn! but its alrite sa no freeway on guam lol
boom. installed pics. clutch is frikkkin solllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiddddddd!!!! bang in every gear! the radiator fit perfect. but i need to get another little bit longer overflow tube, i had to fab one up cuz the original was a little short. i put a "vacuum hose" connector, its leaking a little bit but o well. it works! side note.... anyone hear of a problem with the power steering tensioner pulley going bad/making noise? i think mine is bad, makes noise when cold. i think. i tried to listed with a scope but its loud n vibrates though everything else. or unless is coming from something else. hopefully not the chain again, slapping against the metal guides. i guess i can always try to remove the belt so its not spinning n see if noise goes away.
oh yeah ive tried the tensioner whinding before.I would put pressure with something like a screwdriver on the center bolt that is not spinning ofvoarse and if the tone changes a little in the whind then ya thats the one.
been slowly fixing up truck little stuffs here n there.... ....tha new kicks n fresh meats! i got my wish, Weld Racing Prostars. boom.
guess what i found on the local CL.... someone selling a 4Runner SR5 cluster. SCORE!! i made sure to read up on calibrating the tach -as the cluster came off a V6. found a couple write-ups, very helpful and easy to perform. after that, swapped over bulbs, found out i'm in need of a few more. have to buy/pick'em up from somewhere. need bulbs n sockets for the cluster. also got a new Toyota oil pressure sending unit and connector fitting -for that super freshy dope skills, came looking stock with the truck kinda look. ok ok.
prior to my new cluster and wheel install, i had some free time while at work so i decided to remove the air pump. pretty easy. i just had to make a block-off plate and find a "new" gasket for it. didnt take too long n the abundance of horsepower OMFG!!!!!! its so fast!!! fast!!!!! Fast!!!! ... as for that little yellow plug..... dont ask about that yellow plug. dont speak of the yellow plug. dont ever touch the yellow plug. lets just say, if it is pulled out, you'll go so fast, you'll travel back in time, up to the moment of when u was thinking about pulling the plug n slap urself so u dont pull the plug.
Alert!!!!!!!!!!!! ALERT!!!!!!! ALERT!!!!!! ALERT!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE GO CHECK OUT JCWHITNEY.COM - they are selling Pro Comp Toxic shocks for $36 !!!!! ON SALE!!!!! I just ordered mines!!!! HURRY!!!!! SALE END ON MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! GET'EM WHILE THEY LAST!!!!!!
Leche chelu.I pulled the plug and I'm in 1945.Theres a bunch of japanese here but they never heard of Toyota.Help. Edit:This message was sent in 1945 but due to there being no internet back then it took this long for it to arrive here.
i seen this truck personaly and even ride it in and this mini is solid...fast for just being stock...this truck had big KAHUNA kine power
Toyota's do respond well to modifications. Too bad our US versions are so "smogged" down. I would love to drive a Hilux with the 18RG (twin cam)
anyone know of a place where i can score a 82 supra AFM?? -besides the JY. i've been going there for a few weeks now n havent found any luck. i was looking on ebay but idk how reliable the "remanufactured" ones are. ....if anyone's got a known good spare laying around that they would like to get rid of, let me know ...$$$$....
