Pic's of leaf springs drop

    hey im new to the leaf spring i want to drop my truck from the rear i already did the torsion's in the front i got 3" blocks for rear but i been reading bout removing a leaf and flipping the load leaf my ? is which leaf do i remove and which one is the load leaf i will appreciate if pic can be posted thanks all in advance

    thats EZ...just put the 3" block remove the middle leaf and just flip the bottom leaf...

    thanks jaybee but i think my father in law removed the bottom one for some reason is it the one that is just straight no curve on it cuz i seen those in his garage

    Yes there really short? Yea take em put em back on but upside down. They have a slight BOW to them. U want them to bow down.

    I also took mine of should i put it back on, will it make a difference?

    i wouldnt, i did this and it forced me to notch the back which i didnt do, if your looking to drop more look to spend more.

    Absoltly. Leaving only one leaf will break. It may not right away but it WILL eventually. Put it back in and get a bigger block

    i have only 3 leafs on but it didnt lower anythin on my truck wonder what im doing wrong

    Did u only take ur overload off? Ur overload only comes into play when u have weight in ur bed. And lowerinng blocks add distance between shock plate and axle. Since u removed tge overload leaf that moves ur axle closer to ur shock plate. So u more or less probably lifted the rear slightly and made it softer. Put the overload back on upside down. And remove one or two of ur middle leafs
