Drop blocks didn't fit

    I ended up putting the 3in block under the wrap. Just pry up the wrap and place the block in it's place.

    I bet you have never checked them since you installed them..

    Sandwiching aluminum between flexible steel and solid steel.. Sounds solid :waytogo:

    I've seen a lot of failures working on peoples trucks.
    Why buy inferior crap, buy it once and be done with it..
    StreetTacos.com makes some of the beefiest steel blocks I've seen and if you can break those while driving, I'll send ya $100 bucks!

    Up here in the salt belt I've seen AL blocks corrode bad, salt/snow got into the inner part and turned half the block to powder before it finally broke. then the u bolts had about 3" of play. The guy said he had them on for I think 3 winters.

    I used the aluminum ones on my old S10...only had them on 1 winter and never took them off before I sold it.
