    Here is my story.

Girlfriends neighbor was getting rid of his barely running '76 longbed, told me for 2 cases of beer it could be mine. Next day comes, I bring the guy his beer and get a truck lined up to tow off for me and bam, another truck for me. I'm more into 4x4 toyotas, but I couldn't let this thing go to the junkyard and get crushed.

The rear passenger side of the bed was in a crash which smashed in the light housing, slightly dented the bed, and screwed up the tailgate. Owner threw in a straight gate, blue in color. Also threw in the complete taillight lens, housing and harness, this saved me lots of future time looking. This all was back around October/November. Couple months go by to now, February, I spot a nice bed at junkyard, asked if I could sawzall off the corner I need, they said no, so I purchased the whole thing, and the front headlight surround (with emblem!), both yellow in color, $250. Found good seats for $50 out of a Hilux Chinook. So currently have $300 and 2 cases of quality (not) Icehouse into the thing. This is how it sits now.

Plans for motor, I have a 22RE given to me by a buddy, needs rebuilt, but that is what will be dropped in. The 20R in there now has a terrible rod knock. Possibly upgrade the 4spd to a 5spd transmission, but that'll be decided down the road when the motor is closer to being done.

Plans for suspension, 3 inch lowering blocks in rear, lowering springs or cut stock ones in front. New shocks. (this is where I need your guys' help, need good opinions on brands, best way to lower truck, etc.)

Other plans, I liked the stock white steelies after I took the ugly hubcaps off, so I'll run those for a while. But I really like the gold Eneki 92 wheels, maybe look for a set of those down the road. Body status, keep it looking like Frankenstein for now, no paint or anything. I got the truck for cheap, it's pretty much staying that way.

    Pictures now,

This is how the truck is as of now, more to come.

I could do without the different colors, someday way down the road I'll have it painted, I think a shade of blue would look cool. Just needed it straight for the most part as of now. Yes I've heard from a few people now it's a toyota harlequin haha.

Welp, that was quick, plans might be changing and I could possibly be getting another truck here soon, this one could be for sale as of next week. For some reason I can't post here in the classifieds here but, if I do sell, will post up the craigslist link here. If anyone has interest please reply here.

I'm curious how much it'd be for just the emblem (i have a grille and a half, don't need another whole one)

Possibly, I might want to sell it complete with grille, but I'll let you know if I sell it without.
