    Hey Guys,

So this is my first toyota, im an all around car guy and have some pretty neat stuff ( if I say so myself) This Hilux project kinda came outta the blue, I have a buddy who found this broke down from montana, it had been rolled years ago and has 51k miles on it, they were going to part it out and scrap it, well I over paid 900.00 to save it and then since its got the right look decided to make a rat rod / light restore but keeping that great Patina that this truck has more than earned. In the first week, got it running, fixed brakes, waxed, installed salad shooters, got front lowered, rear coming soon, also bed cover made from an old metal Marathon sign from the 50s coming soon :runaway:

Welcome! That's cool you decided to save this truck. There's a listing on CL for a truck the same color as yours with a short bed & auto trans for $4,999.00 Really, really nice looking truck with a steep price. Have fun with your project!!!

Thanks guys I wanted to keep that hot wheels toy look so the salad shooters were a natural choice, also I didn't want to see those vintage non vented brakes up front so the wheels killed two for one

Does anyone in this forum sell Hilux parts 73-78 or part them out and ship parts?
