Has anyone else seen theres a new bolt on rear disc conversion for our trucks?? I dont theink the old ones, but 84-95 axle, Tre5 customs now makes brackets and lines, and offers a kit, for $450 plus shipping, and the entire thing bolts on to the axle! It's in The march issue of minitruckin this year

Wish tre5 or somebody would make a rag joint eliminator kit .as well or somebody on here had access to a almunium machining and could cut a round spacer to bolt in place of the old worn rubber one

I just bout one for my camaro 40 dollars with 4 bolts and eight nuts . Night day difference in steering

Was just thinking all of us with these older trucks that are lowered and or built to perform . That this would be a good upgrade to a metal coupling. Seems like the four wheel drive guys woulda maid one buy now but I haven't seen any .. Might be something to look into or prototype test

I checked into a rag joint reacement.... For the cost it was cheaper to pull one from
    Salvage yard ad store it.
If you plan on makin one let me know.... Ill take one for the runner.

pretty sure you can get a universal joint from flaming river that fits the yota boxes. my friend got one from them for his body dropped frontier.

Tre5 will also sell the kit without lines for $350, or just the stands for $150 and he will tell you the type of caliper/rotor setup to purchase

After telling me what brake parts to use, he also added that he would do brackets and lines for $250, and for those who are curious, no. it doesn't retain a parking break, but i imagine you could graft the one in from the mustang that the rotors come from

I changed my 88 Extra Cab to disk, see my post & parts list!!
    With a 4 piston caliper & 12.9'' rotor up front & a single piston caliper w/ e-brake & 11.32'' rotor @ the rear ,the truck stops very quickly!
