Yeah. A combination of thick tire smoke and blue flames.

Finally completed trimming the trucks body harness of unneeded wiring. Need to wrap everything. Also cut the hood to install my new latching hood pins. It was a pita.

Now I'm gonna strip the hood and prime it.

    Haha!! No Thanks.

Just received my new corner lights. Never seen these on other 84-88 minis. Test fitted them with the shrink wrap still on.

Also ordered a complete 1uz 5 speed conversion kit from ToyotaV8.com instead of piecing together a kit with my current aluminum adapter plate. This kit has everything I need and their plate is made of steel.

Waiting for my MOPAR fender indicator lights to be delivered.

I've always liked these oldschool details and I think they will look good on the truck. Many old toyotas sported them in the 80'S / 90's.

I believe those corners are found on Japanese and Australian Hiluxes (that's where I've seen them, in Australia).
I'll probably order some for my truck!

Other wise, that truck looks great with the latches and corners on!

^ yeah, that guy always has some cool parts for japanese cars. All new aftermarket. I ordered parts from him for my old corollas in the past. Always happy with them.

Thanks for the link, I like the way they look and stick out a tad. How long was the wait from that guy? I need new corners anyway lol.

Yeah, that's what I like too. They also hold two bulbs so one bulb can be wired as a blinker.

I paid for them on 1/15 and received them yesterday. So, 2 weeks.

^ They are worth the wait. They are aftermarket and they went alittle overboard with the sealant. I had to trim off some of the excess but still very happy with the cornerlights.

I installed one of the upper fender indicators and instantly wished I mounted them about 4 inches more forward.

I really want a set of these LED headlights. Trying to decide which look best on this truck.

    Maybe go projector.....

They are pretty expensive so I'm gonna focus on the things I need to get this truck on the road for now.

I think I too like the look of the last light pictured.

However, I'd sure like to see what that LED set-up could do at night! I bet the light output is fantastic.
