So I just scored this truck its a project and has some nice work done so far reverse 4 link bags on control arms ect.... my plan is to install some bumps so it don't drop all the way out back and get some nice rims and stance the truck out and use the bags for speed bumps like a lil girl... haha well anyways I'll keep ya updated and if your in SD let's meet up and talk yotas

Thanks guys just hit ecology and scored some lil bits... I'm thinking replacing the rear shocks with like some fox 2.0 coil overs.... set em where I want my stance bump it a few inches up from that and have plenty of droop factored in for lift if needed.... any ideas or anyone done this... I used to have a bagged Yota and had this whole idea but traded it off before I made it happen... well this ones a keeper so ima make it happen... Yeah I just wanna bump it before the drive shaft hits the notched x member.... I just trimmed the inner fenders and got it to roll all the way down just it needs a custom x member or something cuz the drive shaft rubs.... I do like the idea of being able to set it all the way down..... for now I'm enjoying it as is the in side needs a lot of work and the exhaust needs to be re done and the sun roof leaks... so getting it all together and reliable is number 1.... I figure once I start seeing minis and others ideas I'll be able to be set on what I want..... so far I've always had the idea of a "sport truck' type set up... SD Yota and jay bee few others pretty much nail it.... I just want a clean bitchen street truck.... however this low rider type set up is cool but it just don't feel like me... sure is growing on me thou

I never liked bagged trucks for me but they are cool to be bagged. I like your term sport truck. I have tacoma with a 6/8 drop on air shocks and I can drive it around really low with no rubbing issues.. Im restoring a 82 short bed and i might just bag it in the front.. We should kick it sometime to get your truck where you want it. streetacos.com is one route check that out. I have a buddy that works on my truck and is working on all my rust issues on my 82. Great welder if you need that exhaust set uo worked on let me know Im sure he can do all that cheaper than some shop that doesnt work on the low and slow trucks. Nice truck..

 

Yeah sounds way cool I wana get involved with the local yotas... I'm pretty deep in the Vw scene I have a 66 java green bug I race at Qualcomm.... but yeah Im always open minded and really undiceded on the route I wanna go with it... I just know the Tijuana stance and skyline wheels gotta go (SD locals get it) .... but yeah there's a lot of great trucks on this site I really like scrub's too.... like I said I'll get it right and have fun with it most importantly...
