hey long time since i been here bt my question is how to increase steering angle nd how u guys have done it cuz man our steering angle sucks im not drifting or anything well maybe latter on bt what do u recommend on a budget nd diy type of attitude any ideas thanks
my wheel hit i have so much streering first part is adjust your steering stop's and see how that goes you can get more but you will have to bend the toe arm if you have wide wheel that's were I am now
Remove the steering stops. Check to make sure that nothing it getting eaten up too badly. I have tubular control arms installed on my truck. They don't have the stop plates fabbed onto them, I don't have any rubbing. I do however run a 25mm wheel adapter which may help keep the tires from hitting the frame. I also don't have the forward connecting rods...
Thanks for the response well right now I just have twequed torsions nd running 16x8 -10 starions all around nd yea I'll try dat any other ideas?? I hate having to take a u turn nd have to reverse to finish the turn or do a feint drift which is fun bt sumtimes I have passengers or my wife that hates when I do dat lol. I hate seeing other cars going circles around me nd I coukd berly do a u turn lmao thqnks for the help
Holy crap I'm so impressed with my steering I took of the steering stops screwed rit out hammered the brake plate nd man I can do sum sharp turns without reversing nd I can get into tight parking spaces man thanks guys I can even drift better with it lol
"im not drifting or anything" ...right. But yes, usually the first thing is either the strut rod or the wheel well meeting your tires.
When I flipped my lower balljoints I removed steering stops. I have a +40 offset with 1/4" spacers and I can turn till my rim hits upper bj. Which is about 2 1/2 cranks of the wheel with manuel steering. Just about flip a bitch in a lane and a half
