    was scraping ice off my windows... in at least 10 degree weather this morning.... well my window busted.... rear window, 2nd one from left out of the 4 panes....

    soo now what? its COLD AND SNOWING OUT SIDE ON MY BIRTHDAY WITH A BROKEN WINDOW!!!!!!


    i'm too afraid of scraping my truck's cold windows now!!.


    sooo should i just replace teh small sliding window? or get a solid 1 piece? im unsure.. precious 15 year old OEM glass.. =[.... hmmm tint.... HELP ME!!

    i'll ask mom later if insurance covers it

    its ur call if u want a solid or a sliding. me i like the slidin windows. This is becuase i dont have A/C in most of my vehicles so the more windows the better. But that suchs either way though man!

    Yeah insurance might cover it..... But i like the one pieces. They look clean and they just look sweet. But yea the fact that they dont open does kinda suck on a hot day.

    as for the window piece, it's $63 from Toyota Stealership!!! o_O I talked to a friend of mine, he'll try to find me a guy that can do windows for lowest price in town (and these guys work on SCCA and vintage cars too)

    is there a way to get a 1 piece type of window but still ventilate?

    no, how can you vent with 1 window ??? :confused:

    65 bucks sounds very fair, I wouldnt bother looking for a better deal..

    also your not going to find it cheaper.. your lucky you dont drive a 2005 tacoma, my friend got his broken into and its going to cost him $1000 for the new slider.. it doesn come in pieces just the whole thing..

    i think i saw a thread with the plexiglass windows, think i should give that a shot?



    and yeah, so glad i have a 94 yota, i'll probably get teh one from Toyota if thats the best i can find

    yeah we put plexiglass in his, it doesnt work out all the great at all.. just buy the oem replacement

    thanx V8, time wise for now, i think i'll have to go and just replace my broken piece. save the other stuff for later... it's cold out and i want to fix it!

    so Toyota did have single and sliders from factory correcT?
