I have a 93 pickup that has recently caught fire it burnt all of the harnesses on the passenger side of the engine along with fuel lines and starter wires I was considering engine swap not really sure any advice or recommendations
Ya you got your hands fully with that one. Did it melt the body harness too? If so you are going to either need to do a LOT of wiring or try to find a junker that you can get the harness out of. I would do an engine swap too, but again you got a real headache on your hands.
Pictures? What engine? How extensive? I was planning on selling the harness out of my parts truck (wrong generation and for a 22R with a carb) so I looked through ebay for what a good price is. A new harness is going to run about $100 to $200, depending on what's attached to it. If it's just a small area you may be able to re-wire it, or not.
