Hello all, Title says it all just curious if anyone has put the xtreme trim package onto the 89 to 95 hilux body? I think it would look good but only issue would be rear wheel flares in the bed. Any and all input is appreciated. Jessie Pictures always welcome. Even photoshop would be nice just need an idea before wasting money.
For some reason I cant open the link posted above. Anyone have any pictures or good enough with photoshop to slap something together for a general idea?
I'm sure body kits look OK on some cars but IMHO, body kits and trucks don't mix. Same with bumper guards, pop-up sun roofs, both hood and roof visors and 8"+ wide rims....that's unless you are from Kentucky or the hills of West Virginia
its all in personal taste ( one set of my wheels is 8 inches and the other is 8.5 lol ) but yea at the same time i disagree with putting body kits on trucks that are non-factory made. (extreme on s-10s and lightning on f150s, ect....)
Im not saying a full on retarded body kit im talking about just the factory xtreme trim package for the chevy s10 mainly just the side skirts im looking for a sleek/stock look with a little lower look without dropping it any more as my truck is built for street truck drag racing. The fast and furious body kits u see on hondas arent what I am talking about
There would be some serious body work needed to make it fit. The front skirt is round compared to the Toyota just to start. It wouldn't be worth the time and money.
Yeah that rozzi kit is aweful thats why I just wanted the sides off the s10 so they dont sit far down and dont look like something paul walker would drive. So i understand why everyone hates body kits on trucks but am I the only one that thibks the tacoma xrunner is sex? The only reason I didnt ask fitment on that is because body lunes are too far apart. So I thats my take between a body kit and lip kit... body kit would be the rozzi and lip kit wouls be like the xrunner...
In my opinion the 89 and up have some of the smoothest body lines ever on any small pickup to this day and keepin it clean and pure with a mild drop or slammed with the right wheels will keep it lookin right
I bet fellow tm member slacker could make a good lookin lip kit for 89 up trucks that fit the body well and isn't vented and flared drastically if there was a demand
