I like the upgrade DDM tuning sells. I think they are about the same price and are a glass housing. Just my preference.

Hellas are best. Dont waist your money on cheap ebays. Especially the fake projectors they sell.

+1 don't get the cheap knockoffs. I had a set on my old truck that I got for nothing from someones part out. Sure they shine a lot more light than the sealed beams but the pattern was crap and weren't even similar between the two housings. practically no cutoff whatsoever, glare everywhere. Can't get them out of people's eyes and still see more than 20 feet away.

Compare to the candlepower glass housings I use in my old bikes (single 35w sealed beam is NOT fun at night). Single 55w H4 in a good housing is waaay better than two cheapo housings.

I've got a pair of the cheapie ebay's with the glass housing and the clear lens. They do ok. A definite upgrade. But yes, I do want to buy a set of Hellas. If nothing more than to have them be more "stock" looking.

Robert, I have those AutoPal conversions too. I am really surprised at how good they perform. Exact same cutoff as you have in the pic.

And they look stock. Way better than seeing the small reflector inside in my humble opinion.

The reflector types you see being sold online aren't engineered with a proper cut off, are they?

Could you be more specific? the crappy ebay ones (those in robert's pic are 10x better than the ones I had) aren't engineered at all. The ones in the pic sure look like a proper cutoff and I'm fairly critical. the stuff from candlepower is really really nice (alas they don't have a 200mm rectangular H4 housing, but the round one's frikkin awesome)

The cut off works pretty well for me. I'm really impressed at the quality for $45 shipped.

    AutoPal 200mm H4 Conversion

They even come with halogen bulbs to hold you over till the HID's get here...

I bought a pair of cheapies from ebay for $26.59 with free shipping... Not projectors but glass diamond pattern... They supplied me with ceramic 3 prong connectors and they work beautifully. If you want the item number PM me
