I grew up in Portland, PIR for mid night drags! I used to get most stock and body parts from the Toyota guy don't know if he's still there but he was good to get hard to find and cheap parts! Good luck bro

    Sorry about the delayed response...

No word on my truck yet. Sold my 20/22r motor for $1350 with a w50 tranny, making about $200..

Then yesterday I bought a 77 hilux that Ive sinced replace a window and voltage regulator. It runs like a champ.. Needs some carb work but I'm gonna throw on my weber 32/36 when I get an adapter. I'm just going to fix what's needed, do the major body work and not worry about the little dents and quirks it has. And probably lower it with mighty max springs and blocks. Who knows what will happen a year from now though...

There was a guy a few years back rockin a blue yota like your new one has black rims on it that was sick as eff. Don't know anything about whether it's still around or if he still owns it seeing as i haven't lived there for over three years now. But that truck was what got me into to toyotas in the first place!

That truck sounds nice! I loved my truck.... But my new truck is a lot nicer all around! I got into Toyota's on accident. I wanted a small truck like my friend's dad's '71 Datsun (which is sick!! and beats most everything off the line haha)

Dude sucks to hear about the blue truck.I put an inline fuse going to my coil hidden inside the cab that I pull out every time I park somewhere.Even the gas station. These mthfkers are quick nowadays.Got any pics of the 77?

How did you hook it to the coil? I know you can, just never knew how or seen it..
I was just going to do it to the electric fuel pump

I pulled off the fuse box and took out the wires going to the ign fuse and extended them over to my hiding place with the in line fuse.Put back the box with the fake fuse just in case.Electric fuel pump with a toggle will work too but they may get far enough out of site to do other **** to the truck.Just my theory.

Sounds simple enough, Ill have to check it out.. And the fuel pump switch wouldnt let them get far, just whatever was in the bowl of the carb

Yeah that's what I meant. They would be able to start it and go a little ways and if they were smart fkers they would know that they ran out of fuel and look for the switch or park it and take sh!t out of it.It would just give them more time to fuk with the truck.

Have any of you ever thought about how stupid some people truly are?

Today I drove home from the parts store and passed a random guy about 3 houses down from mine.. thought nothing of it. I pull in and was looking in my engine bay cause nothing ever goes right for me, and randomly the guy I passed walked up and started asking me if my truck was stolen.

He knew the color and where I had it parked and everything. Keep in mind I had never seen this guy before in my life!

He basically told us who stole my truck and where it was. I instantly reported it to the police and they quickly went and checked it out but nothing was there but junk and scrap metal.:brickknock:

So now we know who did it, and where they live, but we have no proof that he did actually do it..:brickknock::brickknock::brickknock:
