Work so far looks awesome!!! What size wheel/tire setup are you using? And, is that the stock brake booster/master cylinder setup?
Your truck manual or auto? If manual, did you put the clutch cylinder under the dash? Would that same setup work with a 20" setup (225/35/20)?
busted out another line after work tonight, wouldnt be such a big deal if it didnt take 4 tries to get it right. pretty much in a holding pattern waiting on some odds n ends. took a pic with actual camera this time
i knew i seen this truck some were, showfest. glad to see all the photos gives me more motivation to get mine done
yeah i brought it out to showfest but i honestly thought nobody saw it so thanks for noticing! went to the junkyard today and had to wrestle a fueltank out of a 4runner to get the flexible line off so i can move forward on the fuel lines so yall can expect some overly detailed coverage of that stuff comin soon!!
been picking at the fuel system/brake plumbing have all the brakelines made just need to run one more between the unions going to the rear and prettymuch at the same point with the fuel lines. im planning to get all the front and rear air, fuel ,brake lines run and then ill run all the lines along the frame rail under the cab. just put the fuel filter in the stock location and running factory rubber lines all round cause im poor. i had a new filter but like everything else i cant find it anywhere so ill add that to the list.
This build is a thing of beauty! And, holy c'rap! You're cutting aluminium by hand? You must have arms like Popeye!
thanks, that 1/2" plate cuts pretty easy with a coping saw and it files pretty easy too. so far i have made 15 with plans for more
made some tubs out of 14 gauge and some creatively bent 1.25 tubing to start fabbing the inside of my bed
