15 1/4" eye to eye extended with 5 3/8" travel.

I retain full movement in every direction. They were best I could find...

No real news. Work has picked up and I've been working crazy hours so I haven't had time.

Ok, finally working on fixing the broken FB pic links....

Give me a few days, as I'm also working on the truck. I've done a lot over the last few months, just haven't had time to post them all up.

    Just a small preview....

Took my lunch today and fixed all of the broken links on the bed build. Didn't post as many pics this time, some of them were redundant.

Ok, so... had to build a turbo manifold. Might as well go from scratch. Went a little heavy to eliminate any chance of cracks developing from the heat cycles.

Had to machine a flange with the coped radius in it (rather than trying to blend some pipe).

It won't be the most efficient manifold ever, but I don't think it'll be too bad.

Drilled the oil return port. I chose to put it above the factory location on the 22rte, but there is plenty of clearance inside the case.

I tried using the Toyota VAST ignition with the MegaSquirt controller, but it was giving me headaches and I gave up on it. I ordered a missing tooth wheel and Hall effect sensor - vastly more precise timing.

Also decided to shave the intake manifold as much as possible.

Machined the trigger wheel to locate it behind the crank pulley, rather than the customary front mount. It allowed me to tuck the sensor further back out of the way, which is helpful with the three belts on our trucks.

Did some mock up on the old motor to build my down pipe. I hope it looks up to par with some of the other choices I've made.

    Turbo in place.

I marked it and taped it to keep from having to tack it at home. Took it to work and tacked it up.

Not the best pic, but finish welded. Next I have to finish the rest of the stainless exhaust...
