The stock light in my Xcab 95 Truck is so dim that it is almost worthless. Can anyone recommend a Toyota light replacement that would be better? You know: nice map light, etc. 4Runner?

Thanks for any input. I have the same problem w my 2006 Scion xB. Its' interior light sucks too.

That looks sweet, but how are you getting the power to the rear-view mirror? My light is behind the seat, and my rear-view has no power. I'm guessing that you ran it through the headliner, but my interior is really sweet and original. I'm hesitant to mess with it. The headliner is perfect.

I was hoping for a rear light that I could switch out, but I'd like to know how you did yours.

 

I wish my local pick and pull had some toys. Imma have to find some other yards cuz I want a map light like that.

My 92 has the map light on the rear view mirror and nothing behind the seat. I guess it all depends on what options the owner ordered from the factory.

 

I guess so. I know a guy here in Dallas that buys and rebuilds Toyota trucks and 4Runners. I'm going to go and see what he's got.
