Did you use shorter bolts on the block side?

 

yeah you gotta use shorter bolts... i didnt have shorter bolts at the time so i just used washers to space it out... sorry for late reply bud... but yeah bolts havent come loost with washers as spacers....

 

hows the truck? i have a '90 short bed single cab that im trying to do a 1uz or lz1 swap . nice to know somebody else in az knows the potential in these trucks!

 

Sorry for late response. My truck had came to stand still. Especially with putting money in my house and my child support . But its all good I will get it done evetually. Lol. I do have the engine set jus need to take pics soon. When you decide on motor you want. Do lots of research and ask lots of questions if your not sure.

 

Nice project. I have to agree with everyone, white looks good on your truck.

btw, the truck has been sitting for over a year? I don't have that kind of patience. I would go insane having to look at it day in and day out

Yeh it been a min and it does drive me crazy seeing it sit there in the garage. Thats why I cover it. Lol

That'll be a fun truck to drive when it's done! Are you planning on doing an axle swap or are you keeping the stock one?

 

Im planning on Exploder (3:73) rear end. I been looking on cl for one. And im definitely going to ditch leaf springs for 4 link n some qa1's.
